EAHEA is an international quality assurance agency working to improve quality assurance standards of organisations worldwide. Through its global network of experts, it grants accreditation to educational institutions, corporations, professionals and qualified individuals.
Regional accreditation bodies evaluate education providers on a regional scale and grant them primary accreditation. The growth of globalisation calls for a global entity able to evaluate them against internationally proven standards and grant an internationally recognised secondary accreditation. EAHEA provides that international accreditation, enhancing an institution’s regional accreditation and assuring stakeholders that its programmes, policies and procedures meet international standards of quality.
For students, it means degrees and credits carry increased acceptability around the world, should they choose to study or work abroad.
